Ayurvedic Cooking Course
The six tastes, spice knowledge and a balanced Ayurvedic menu.
Cook Sri Lanka. Understand Ayurveda.
Discover Ayurveda in a practical and enjoyable way during our 4-hour Ayurveda Cooking Course. Together, we explore how food, spices and the three Doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha are connected in Ayurvedic cooking.
The course begins with an easy-to-understand introduction to the basic principles of Ayurveda. We look at the six tastes, Agni as a traditional concept of digestion, and selected spices and their traditional uses. Afterwards, we prepare a balanced Ayurvedic menu together using fresh ingredients, vegetables, pulses, rice, coconut and carefully selected spices.
The course combines knowledge with hands-on cooking. You will not only learn new recipes, but also discover simple ways to bring Ayurvedic principles into your everyday kitchen.
